Description
Ca. 4th to 3rd century B.C., manufactured in the Greek colony of Campania in southwestern Italy. Very ornately crafted blackware wine cup with small foot, large sweeping handles and bulging midsection. Interior has been stamped with a 4-sided palmette design as well as two concentric circles of linked "chains." Cup measures 6-7/8”W x 3-1/2”H

Intact and generally excellent, save small section of one handle that has been invisibly restored and small spaul from interior base.
