Vintage Solid Sterling Silver Hinged Case W/Ornate Incised Details & Gilt Interior - This rectangular case is made of solid sterling silver and has a beautifully ornate design. The case is decorated on one side with an incised scene with men on horseback and foot hunting after wildlife, in an ornate foliate border and background. The back of the piece is also ornately decorated with a stunning foliate motif, and the interior is lined in vibrant gilt gold. The case has a push button hinged closure, and measures 4.5"L x 3.25"W x 0.25"D. The interior of the case has a hallmark in the corner along with "83" written in Arabic. (WEIGHT: 170.9 grams)
