The Fat Boy belongs to the Softail family, a line of motorcycles known for its hardtail look with hidden rear suspension that Harley-Davidson first introduced in 1984. Designed by Willie G. Davidson and Louie Netz, the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy debuted in 1990, becoming immensely popular in very quick time.

With a 1340cc, 81 cubic inch V twin engine, soft tail frame, characteristic solid disc wheel, shotgun exhaust, hand-laced leather seat and gunmetal grey finish with distinct yellow trim, the Fat Boy’s “handmade” style took the world by storm and has since become synonymous with US patriotism and nostalgia.

As per the consignor, this bike was purchased and driven a few miles home by the owner. Since then, it has sat in his garage, probably 24 years, until it has recently been discovered. The bike has been sitting in the garage, covered up and we have not tried to start it or manually crank it, nor have we done anything to it other than to have it cleaned and detailed. It looks like there is a area on the accessories switch where the lettering has been slightly rubbed away. You are buying this bike in “AS-IS” condition and knowing there has been no mechanical inspection done or a condition report issued. This bike may not be in running condition. There is some light pitting to the chrome. We do have the title in hand.
