This is a gorgeous pair of micro-mosaics done by master artist L. Bartei, I believe. Both have the artist's initials in the lower right corner in brass strips. These pieces are spun enamel glass, beautifully crafted, depicting Italian scenes. One does come with a COA in Italian, translates to "Roman school mosaic We certify that the mosaic work depicted was performed by the master of mosaic art" It is titled "Cottage by the Lake" and the artist appears to be L. Bartei. Both have this artist initials. They are mounted on brass, the back of each is stamped Traversari Italy. They will come with stands that have been modified to allow these to hang on the wall.
