Reflections on the Revolution in France is a political writings by the Irish statesman Edmund Burke and published in November 1790 as a pamphlet and 1st book print in 1791 this is the eighth edition.


Thanks to its thoroughness, rhetorical skill and literary power, it has become one of the most widely known of Burke's writings and a classic text in political theory.
1791 print of FAMOUS Edmund Burke Reflections on French Revolution Politics Dublin Edmund Burke was an 18th-century Irish politician whose orations and speeches to Parliament made a lasting impact on political theory and major events such as the French Revolution. He frequently spoke out against public torture and condemnation for criminals, protested trade laws and commerce restriction. It was his frustration and anger with the government that prompted Reflections. (PMM) "The Printing and the Mind of Man" give an extensive description of Burke and this work, noting the success that this work achieved, even though it cost Burke his loyal allegiances with the Whig party.
Though designated 'eighth edition' both this and the earlier Dublin issues are of 356 pages, and thus of a version deriving ultimately from some printing (a-e) before the third London edition."Reflections on the Revolution in France" and on the proceedings in certain societies in London, relative to that event. In a letter intended to have been sent to a gentleman in Paris Dublin : Printed by W. Porter, 1791.
