x 24.5 in. width, (with frame 27 in. height x 32 in. width).
Guerra works in the rich tradition of superior Cuban print-makers, and is regarded as a master in "colorgrafica," a hybrid printmaking and etching technique and is known for his highly expressive and imaginative works of art.
Guerra has an academic foundation that can be seen in each of his pieces. He studied at the Vocational Arts School; the National Arts School (ENA), where he specialized in engraving; and graduated in 1995 from the Higher Institute of the Arts (ISA). He has held a score of solo exhibitions on the island, in the United States, France, Spain, and Slovakia; and fifty collective exhibitions . He currently teaches at the Instituto Superior de Arte.
