Sheikh Sayyidi Abd al-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad Al-Akhḍarī (1512-1575) was born in Algeria, more precisely in Biskra in an Algerian Arabian Sherifian family of the Arab tribe of Banû Al-Akhdar, a native of Yemen, present in Algeria since 680s. Muslim scholar, poet, astronomer, logician and Maliki lawyer.

The pages have yellowish spots. Traces of water have damaged the bottom of some pages. The manuscript is incomplete. Notes have been added. Some pages are decolated.
