A set of Chimu corded bands adorned with parrot feathers, c. AD 1100 - 1450, including a partial tump line and decorative element most likely from a large bag. The groups consists of four tightly knitted cords, one dyed a deep maroon and another with attached feathers, a few have come loose, along with a loosely woven panel fringed with color feathers. Panel measures 5 in x 3 ¾ in (12.8 x 9.5 cm). Ex Virginia private collection formed in the 1950Â’s-1960Â’s.
