A nice pair of earrings comprised of Manteno spindle whorls from Ecuador, hung with nicely polished Bahia shell beads from Ecuador, c. AD 500 - 1500, and small Chimu stone beads, c. AD 1100 - 1450. Hung on modern .925 silver ear hooks and findings. Manteno whorls: Ex Hank Johnson collection, Denver, Colorado; Bahia beads: Ex New World Artifacts Gallery, San Diego, CA; Ex Jack Hart collection, Charleston, SC.
