Northern Africa, Aterian industry (Middle Stone Age/Middle Palaeolithic), ca. 145000 to 20000 years before present. A fine collection of fifteen chert tools, each tanged, bifacial, and roughly leaf-shaped. Size of largest: 0.95" W x 1.95" H (2.4 cm x 5 cm); size of display case: 14.2" W x 8" H (36.1 cm x 20.3 cm)
