Description
DESCRIPTION: A Cusquena school oil on canvas painting depicting the Angel Arcabucero with an arquebus (an early muzzle-loaded firearm) instead of the sword traditional for martial angels, dressed in clothing inspired by Andean nobles and aristocrats. Stamped on the reverse: "Instituto Nacional de Cultura - Perú" Framed in a carved gilt wood frame.
