This chair, also known as the Space Needle chair, was designed for the observation desk of the Space Needle at the Seattle World's fair in 1962. The articulated base allows for two separate 360 degree rotations—a unique design feature that allowed visitors to "orbit" the base of the chair.

Condition
Upholstery shows minor surface wear and ambient discoloration in keeping with normal use over time. Fogging to leather elements of armrests. Chair moves fluidly in use. Very good vintage condition.
