A Very rare ancient vessel from Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan / Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. A round terracotta vessel with a rounded base,incised linear designs and a petite flared rim. A lovely example of some of the earliest styles of pottery produced in the Indus Valley. The vessel measures 5 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide. Provenance: Hesse Galleries , NY, Dr Brian Healy collection, NY.
