An Iroquois cradleboard carved in the traditional manner with flowers, vines, animals and birds,Two deer appear in the top corners, bird and floral images in the mid section with two opposing beavers and two bear images at the bottom. Original cross rail and foot board intact. Some paint restoration. Likely from the Mohawk St. Regis reserve straddling the Quebec - New York border in southwestern Quebec. 19th century. H: 30"; W: 13.25". // Porte-bébé iroquois, sculpté dans le style traditionnel et orné de fleurs, vignes, animaux et oiseaux. Deux chevreuils dans les coins supérieurs, oiseau et motifs floraux au centre, et deux castors faisant face à deux ours dans le bas. Poignée et repose-pieds d’origine intacts. Peinture légèrement restaurée. Probablement de la réserve mohawk de Saint- Régis, chevauchant la frontière du Québec et de l’État de New York, au sud-ouest du Québec.
