HERMÈS - a vintage suede tortoiseshell bar handbag. Crafted from black suede with leather piping, with a flat top handle, hinged opening featuring a composite tortoiseshell bar with a ridged silver sliding clasp, soft black leather lining and a matching coin purse. Measuring 8 by 18 by 25cms.

The handbag is in good condition with wear in keeping with its age. The exterior suede holds good colour with some minor fading, a small hole right some and further small areas of abrasion. The handle is in good condition with two holes to the suede and some abrasion to the edges. The silver is lightly tarnished with very few hairline scratches. The composite tortoise shell bar holds no visible damage. The interior lining is in fair condition with a scattering of scuffs, scratches and impression marks with a musty odour. Believed to be produced in the 1950's-1960's. Is without a dust bag.
