Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng celadon monochrome glazed porcelain jar. The shape having thick potted body, feminine shape ,sturdily potted in a bulbous body, gently swell on shoulder into a feminine waist that extends all the way to the bottom, prominent straight neck with opening, raised on small round flat base. In the shoulder emerging round half moon. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered masterfully covered in an even coat of a green celadon glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Yongzheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
