Chinese Qing Dynasty pot. Thick Chinese porcelain, feminine body rises naturally into a straight long neck, outward at the wide pot opening, elephant trunk flanked oh the neck to shoulder, the immaculate porcelain body is covered with a characteristic silky glaze. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The main body adorned archaic flowers blooms enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The shoulder decorated with geometric pattern and scrolling flowers blooms, enclosed with triple fine blue rings lines. Auspicious pattern and scrolling flowers blooms festooned on the neck with trashing wavy Lishui water on the mouth rim. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
