(8vo) 9¾x6¾, original dark blue cloth with lettering and pictorials in silver, top edges gilt. First American Edition. Shackleton's second expedition to the Antarctic, and the first of which he was in command, profusely illustrated from original photographs, with much on the natural history & science of the area as well as the activities of the expedition.
