Description
A Chinese carved white jade guang-form water coupe qing dynasty, 18th century. The sides carved with archaistic scrollwork and incised taotie masks, the handle flange with a further mask, retaining a finely-incised metal insert and carved hardwood stand, the stone with a pale celadon tone, scattered lighter inclusions, a russet-tinged natural fissure to one side.
