Provenance: The Sturm Collection; formerly in the Collection of Aboyne Castle, Scotland Condition Report: Not removed from frame; multiple older restorations; relined with new stretcher bars; craquelure pattern throughout; 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. tear upper center with associated repair en verso; marks and accretions throughout; surface dirt; light buckling; scratches along edges from contact with frame; difficult to penetrate varnish layer with UV light. Frame- modern wood frame; marks, nicks, scrapes and abrasions; surface dirt. Exterior frame dimensions - 18 3/4 in. x 22 3/4 in. x 1 in. IMPORTANT: All purchases must be removed from our premises within 10 days of the auction.
