Group of Japanese Polychrome Porcelain , 20th c. and earlier, incl. lobed dish, dia. 9 7/8 in.; bowl with cover, dia. 4 1/4 in.; and cup, h. 2 1/8 in., stand, overall h. 3 1/4 in.; TOGETHER WITH bronze-mounted Chinese Imari cup, h. 3 1/4 in.; and basketry encased porcelain cup, h. 2 1/8 in., stand, overall h. 2 5/8 in. (5 pcs.) Provenance: The Sturm Collection, St. Thomas and Trinidad Condition: Lobed dish - good overall with small hairline to rim. Covered bowl - bowl with hairlines from rim through side walls and forking hairline in well. Cup - good condition with minor wear to enamels. Bronze-mounted cup -- repaired breaks to one side and small associated losses. Basketry cup - porcelain with repaired break near rim and scattered hairlines; basketry with only minor wear. IMPORTANT: All purchases must be removed from our premises within 10 days of the auction. Any items not picked up or remaining at the end of the 10-day period will be donated. * When available condition information is included with lot description.
