1720-1270 BC. A pair of cylinder seals comprising: a Mitannian limestone cylinder seal with animals; two quadrupeds facing each other, to the left a goat, a sitting winged stag to the right, above both another caprid, turning the head backwards to the left, sitting on the horns of the goat a bird, between the figures some floral elements, horror vacui; an Old Syrian black jasper cylinder seal with birds, fifteen ostrich chicks with a typically short tail and head turned backwards to the right, arranged in three vertical rows of five each, facing a vertical row of five birds, possibly pigeons, between the two species of birds a vertical row of five pellets, horror vacui.
