Description
This iconic chromolithograph dramatically shows General Custer (identified) and the members of the 7th Calvary of the US Army being massacred by the Lakota Sioux and Northern Cheyenne at the Battle of Little Big Horn.Many others are identified by name or role, aside from Custer. The original piece was presented to the Seventh Regiment of U.S. Cavalry by the Anheuser- Busch Brewing Association.Anheuser- Busch obtained the original painting by western artist Cassily Adams and created lithographs like this for advertising and promotional purposes. The front of the piece is amended under "Custer's Last Fight" as The Original Painting has been presented to The Seventh Reg't U.S. Cavalry.
