Description
A group of 4 Roman - Modern rings. Lot includes a Late Roman/Byzantine type, c. 5th - 6th Century AD, with a central cross semicircular decorations around (ring size about 9); another a Byzantine type with central cross with hatching within each quadrant (ring size about 9 1/4); the third a Byzantine type similar to the previous example (ring size about 8); the last a 18th - 19th Century brass ring with decorated shoulders and an eagle and star within the bezel (ring size about 6). Each is well-preserved and a nice example! Ex Los Angeles private collection.
