Description
1854 Exquisite HUNTING Reminiscences Huntsman Sports GHOST Illustrated Berkeley

Grantley Berkeley’s ‘Reminiscences of a Huntsman’ is a 19th-century account of an English sportsman. Berkeley, more known for his career as a British politician, was an avid hunter who published a memoir of his adventures while hunting – he recounts stories of ambushing poachers and going on ghost hunts to hunt evil spirits! He offers tips on overcoming nerves of horse riding and a curious ‘cure’ for the chills of a cigar and a hot glass of brandy!
