Description
Tibetan copper figure of a Bodhisattva, possibly Tana, Tara or Manjushri, c.18th century, 6.25 x 4.5 x 3.25 inches, weight 750 grams. Figure seated in vajra posture, both hands with unusual mudra of thumb and ring fingers touching and holding lotus stems, head slightly cocked with mouth slightly opened, ornately ornamented with crown and jewelry, crimped and dented base engraved with a double vajra. Himalayan Art Resources item no. 90567.
Condition
