Two early Disney Studios original animation drawings featuring their first star. Both are executed in various color pencil on standard 9½"x12" sheets. The earliest is a rare drawing from the 1930 short The Cactus Kid in which Mickey is playing a missing piano that was separately animated on different sheets. Two small right edge chips with minor paper loss. The second is from Mickey's Man Friday (1935) picturing Mickey atop a hand-built observation tower watching some type of aerial event. The studio has applied brown paper reinforcements at the punched binding holes. Generally Fine.
