Already in her childhood she was interested very much in painting and drawing. So after having finished school she studied painting and graphic arts in her hometown. At the same time she was working in the studio of her father, learning many old techniques when her father restored old church paintings. The many antique paintings in her parent's home enticed her to paint in the 19th century style which in her opinion is very much neglected by nowadays artists. She specialized in flower and still-life paintings, which she is doing in the antique techniques beginning with the priming of the canvas until many layers of paint exist to reach the details, depth and lustre which is so fascinating in her paintings.
