Description
A LOUIS XIV STYLE PARCEL GILT AND EBONIZED MIRROR, LAST HALF 19TH CENTURY, the protruding ears surrounded by interior egg-and-dart motif centering four triangular relief foliate lozenges, centering an oval mirror with lamb's tongue edge, to a cavetto molding with bound laurel with berry wreath, centering a profuse arched bellflower and guilloche motif, to a bead and molded liner. Height: 31.63" Width: 27.00" Depth: 1.75"
Condition
Some cracking to gesso, mostly apparent at construction joint areas, some rubbing, smudges, mild losses, but overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
