A PAIR OF LARGE VINTAGE CHINESE EXPORT CLOISONNÉ VASES, MID 20TH CENTURY, each flared neck with scrolling lotus blossom, leaf, and tendril motif, over an octagonal shaped vasiform body, each panel decorated with chrysanthemums, cherry blossoms, dogwood blooms, birds, phoenix, and other auspicious foliate, raised on a tapered foot. Note: Some patina to metal thrhoughout, minor firing flaws, kiln bursts, some dulling of the finish, a dark residue at base, but otherwise in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
