Description
TWO CHINESE FIGURINES, 20TH CENTURY, "Archaic Emperor," circa 1907, parcel gilt, gesso and lacquer, verso date mark, height: 6 3/4", width: 3 1/4", depth: 2 1/2"; and "Zhongli Quan," black resin on stand, one of eight immortals, his large fan can resurrect the dead and change stones into gold and silver, height: 11 3/4", diameter: 4".
Condition
The emperor with apparent wear, dust debris, cracks, losses, hair loss, but overall in fair to good condition; and the resin example has some expected surface wear, rubbing at base, but in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use for both.
