American Rococo Revival Laminated Rosewood Slipper Chair, Attributed to J. H. Belter, New York
third quarter 19th century, in the "Fountain Elms" pattern, the thinly laminated tall back with a leaf- and floral-carved crest over an oval cushion on a pierced frame, the serpentine seat with like carving, raised on cabriole legs.
