Medium: Mezzotint, 1776.
Published Septr. 30th 1776 by John Boydell engraver in Cheapside, London.
Image size 10 7/16 x 13 7/8" (26.4 x 35.3 cm).

Michelangelo Pace was also known as Michelangelo del Campidoglio and Michele Pace del Campidoglio. He was well regarded as a still life painter during the 17th century.

Richard Earlom was a rather talented English engraver who worked for John Boydell, a print and book seller based in London. He produced 27 of the plates included in the two-volume series "The Houghton Gallery," which reproduced 162 paintings held in the estate of Sir Robert Walpole. This mezzotint was one of the plates included in the series.
