Description
Made for the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, a set of six wooden medallions, the obverse with relief decoration depicting Memorial Hall, the Main Building, Independence Hall, a profile of George Washington, a profile of General Joseph R. Hawley, and a profile of Alfred T. Goshorn, with information about the World's Fair on the reverse, and a set of four wooden plaques, the obverse with relief decoration depicting Memorial Hall, the Main Building, Agricultural Hall, and Machinery Hall, the reverse with patriotic text.
Dimensions: The medallions are from 2 3/8" to 3" in diameter, the plaques are each 2 5/8" x 3 7/8".

Condition
The medallions all have shrinkage cracks, and some have stains. The plaques have some water and glue stains, pencil marks, and shrinkage cracks on the edges, but are in overall very good condition.
