Production Description: Light-up console with static buttons, used aboard the various human space craft from Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, including the Daedalus, Odyssey and Apollo. Various personnel used this panel to help enhance the believability of the ship they served on.
Technical Description: Production made computer cabinet with keyboard shelf made from plywood and MDF panel and painted silver, has a built-in 17in flatscreen computer monitor, functionality of monitor and cable is verified, on the upright viewing panel and the shelf is a series of black plastic panels containing acrylic faux buttons backed with multi-colored decals with numbers and text, along the top of the cabinet is a frosted acrylic panel backed with a silver line and circle decal, on the back of the cabinet base is a removable slotted panel backed with frosted acrylic, when the cabinet is plugged in the monitor turns on, internal lights backlight the faux controls and the acrylic panels, functionality is verified, under the shelf is a removable panel, cabinet is on wheels, on both sides of the base is a 3in access hole, has two screw holes on left side. Cabinet shows wear from production use including a 2.75in scratch on the monitor screen. Measures approx. 45.75in x 30in x 42in.
