A George III Mahogany, Tulipwood, Wenge, Kingwood, And Plum Pudding Burr Veneered Supper Table, circa 1775, possibly by Mayhew and Ince, the serpentine top and drop leafs each inlaid with an oval above drawer over a pair of concave doors inset with grille-work. Literature: D. Nickerson, English Furniture of the Eighteenth Century, London, 1963, p. 85 (illustrated, figure 88). height 28 1/2 inches, top 23" x 31", open 31" x 44".
