Description
Elizabeth Burton - Frederick Lueders Shell Lamp c1908. Lueders was a craftsman who started working for Burton in 1901 and by 1906 was designing lamps for her. In 1910, Lueders left Santa Barbara and moved to Pasadena to start his own shop. The lamp in the entrance of The Gamble House is by Frederick Lueders. Signed with impressed LD mark. Color added to original patina. Excellent condition including shell in perfect condition. 18"h x 11"d.
