Description
Description: Fabulous first edition of a rarely avaiable title: Memoirs Of Prince John De Guelph, Rex Et Imperator De Jure Of Great Britain And Ireland. Published by B. W. Dodge & Company, New York, 1910. Replete with juicy scandal and intrique, the book was (at the time) generally considered another "Impostor" autobiography. However, "Prince" John David De Guelph, Aka Prince John Rex Windsor, Aka Dr. John Rex Guelph Norman, (1861-1932) was reportedly a Bishop Of the Wesleyan Episcopal Church and claimed to be the son of King Edward Vii of England and Rightful Heir to the throne! He led a storied life but never did ascend to the throne. Marvelous copy to cherish or give as a gift for the holidays. Purple boards with gilt, frontispiece with original tissue guard, small pencil notation. Material: paper. Measurement: approximate 9" (INCHES). Shipping: $12; different rate to Alaska, California, Hawaii & all International.
