Stunning, Rare, Chinese 17/18th Century Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng Eggplant Purple monochrome glaze porcelain pear bottle vase. The porcelain potted in Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle vase, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to slender waisted neck flaring at the open lip, supported on short foot base and slight concave footing base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in purple black underglaze base color. Purple in traditional Chinese symbolism it stands for divinity and immortality. In modern times, Purple is being used to represent Love or Romance in China just as red color does in the West. Younger consumers are highly attracted to Purple when it is used in brands and for marketing. Meticulous finish sgraffito geometric flori petals on the foot base rim and on the shoulder.
