Description
Dimensions: Height: 10.24 inch x Width/Diameter: 4.53 inch x Length/Depth: 3.94 inch. Dimensions in Centimeter: 26 cm x 11.5 cm x 10 cm. C. 18-19th century. Qianlong Period Cloisonne Incense Burner. A beautiful vase, finely cast, the surface of the body is covered with blue enamel underglaze ground, covered with continuous auspicious cloud pattern. The neck is painted with a stylized flower pattern, and the sides are decorated with abstract dragon-shaped handles, a colorful lotus pattern painted on the bottle. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four cast from copper seal script characters reign mark, made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period(1735-1796). Cloisonne, the scientific name of copper enamel, is an independent variety derived from the metal enamel process in China. It is said that this thing became popular in Jingtai period(1449-1457). When making cloisonne, first we need to weld the flat copper wire made into the desired shape to the copper embryo, fill the space divided according to this with enamel paste of various colors, and then roast it. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty prefers this gorgeous decorative item.
