Comprising: a shovel form salt spoon, London, 1796, no maker's mark; a creamer with etched decoration, London, 1807, appears to be marked for John Merry (monogrammed); a demitasse spoon with gold washed chased floral bowl, London, 1827, unidentified maker's mark (monogrammed); a tea caddy spoon, London, 1836, Mary Chawner (deer crest engraved on terminal); a pair of hollow sterling handle and silver plate blunt blade knives, illegible marks, the blades marked for Josh Kirby & Sons, Sheffield; a hollow handle master butter with beaded and etched foliate decoration, Birmingham, Victorian, no date or maker's marks (monogrammed); another hollow handle master butter with Prince Albert pattern, Birmingham, Victorian, no date or maker's marks (monogrammed); another hollow handle master butter with thread and shell decoration, silver plate blade, London, 1872, unidentified partially illegible maker's mark (beehive crest engraved on terminal); a salt shaker holder, Birmingham, 1923, Ernest Druiff & Co; an open salt with paw feet, gadrooned and shell rim, and cobalt glass insert, Birmingham, 1949, William Suckling Ltd. There are a total of eleven pieces in this lot.

Dimensions: The creamer is 4 1/2" from handle to lip, 3 1/2" in height. The shaker holder is 31 1/4" in diameter, 2 1/4" in height. The open salt is 2 1/4" x 1 3/4", 1 1/8" in height. The flatware is from 3 3/4" to 10 1/2". The total approximate combined weight is 6 troy ounces. We do not include the weight of any pieces that are loaded/weighted.

Provenance: From a Chester County collection.

The creamer, the salt shaker holder, and the master butter all have some dings, especially to the handle of the 1872 master butter. The shaker holder also has some corrosion to the interior of the top, and deep scratches to the exterior. The blades of the pair of knives have some minor pitting. Otherwise good condition with expected wear.
