A mahogany bed with ormolu decoration that includes fully realized gilt bronze classical heads, pinecones and a central eagle with a plaque that has French text that translates in English to: "1st Empire eagle from the Chateau des Tuileries".

Dimensions: The headboard is 48" x 74", the footboard is 48" x 42", the eagle (just the bronze) is 10" x 10" x 6", the rails are 77" long.

Provenance: From a local collection.
