A vintage Cecilian phonograph. The phonograph is housedin a mahogany case ad features a domed, beveled lid which hinges open to expose the turntable, needle arm, and a marking on the underside of the lid which reads “Cecilian”; there is a control dial near one corner to control the speed, and a plunger lever on one side, along with a hand crank for operation. The speaker is housed beneath a pierced section just below the top, in a scrolling foliate design.
