A large important pair of early republic period or late Qing vases with figures holding celebration flags and banners ,pairs of foo dog handles and bats-Finely painted and detailed. Some markings on banners-Measures 18 inches tall and remain in very nice condition-----Provenance: From the estate of Dora Sphar Saddle river New Jersey-A large portion of the Asian collection was purchased in 1978 from the estate of actress Ann Southern-also included in that auction was the estate of Edwin Pabst--------ALL PACKING & SHIPPING IS OUTSOURCED.Purchases can be picked up at our Ho-ho-kus gallery by appointment only- Please call 201-921-6600.
