Description
French 19th Century Deniere Bronze Figural Mantel Clock. The white marble body with patinated bronze figures of "Plenty" modeled as two cherubs with cornucopia or grapes, surrounded with ormolu mounts and feet. The white enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic numeral minute numbers, pierced gilt bronze hands. Single chime movement. 'Denierre FT De Bronzes A Paris' to the dial. 'BR Denierre A Paris 245' to the movement. 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 17 high x 22 wide x 8 inches deep.}. Condition: The body is in significant need of repair. Three feet are detached but available. Several chunks of marble have come off, with two available. Some chipping to the marble. Minor patina and corrosion to the bronze. Pendulum included.
