Description
1928 1st/1st Winnie the Pooh House at Pooh Corner Milne & Shepard Illustrated
“Some people care too much. I think it's called love.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
Shortly after the successes of ‘When We Were Very Young,’ Milne planned his second book for children, this is evidenced by a letter he wrote to his brother stating that it would “appear in 1927 or 1928.” (Thwaite, 293). The following year Milne introduced another pivotal character to the ‘Hundred Acre Wood’ – Tigger! Tigger finds his place in “House at Pooh Corner” alongside Pooh and friends.
