Description
Circa 1930's. Made by Kuramochi, Japan. Box has beautiful paper label, marked "Copyright Famous Artist Syndicate", "CK Japan", and shows Annie on wheeled platform pulling her dog Sandy. Both figures are celluloid and are attached to painted tin platforms. Bases have wheels. Two pieces are attached by original string. Annie has a hobo bindle on a stick over one shoulder and her dog Sandy's head goes up and down when toy is in movement. CONDITION: Box is complete and crisp with very little wear. Very difficult to find in any condition, let alone near mint in the original box. From the Jeff Landes Collection. Dimensions: Box: 6 - 3/4" x 3 - 1/4" x 2 - 3/4".
