Oil on board 14 x 11 in., 17 1/2 x 14 1/2 in. (framed). Tim Ray Fisher was born on November 7, 1969, in Goshen, Indiana. He survived a traumatic childhood, which would later lead to PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder in his early twenties. His ancestors were Mennonite and Amish, and he learned various arts and crafts during his childhood and teenage years. At age 21 he moved to San Diego, California. In 2005, he survived Guillain Barre Syndrome and took up photography at a local community college. He eventually received an Associates degree in photography from San Diego City College in 2008. He took additional art classes including oil painting from Wayne Hulgin, and sculpture from Wendell Kling, at local community colleges in San Diego. He resided in San Diego as a disabled artist where he focuses on oil paintings and assemblage sculptures. He is a gay male and his oil paintings focus on nature and geometric patterns, using vibrant colors. Some of his artwork is dark, anti religious, and homoerotic in nature. He was a member of the San Diego Art Institute for many years where he won two honorable mentions for regional shows, and one painting was chosen for the Southern California Regional Show. He was also a member of the San Diego Museum of Art Artists\' Guild and United Artists of San Diego. He received another Associates degree in art history in 2016 from San Diego Mesa College. In 2017, he moved to Ronks, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to be near rear relatives. There he continues to make artwork.Submitted by the artist, 2018
