Phulkari Head Cloth, India, Early 20th C. Woman's head-cover of two joined sections of cotton tabby cloth known as a darshan dawar. Embroidered in floss silk in large scale geometric patterns that resemble arches, each enclosing a grid filled with patterns of diamonds. Size: 86'' x 49'' (218 x 124 cm).
