Four Antique Dugan Marigold Carnival Glass. All in good condition. 1- Dugan / Northwood Opalescent Marigold Compote 6 1/4"x3". 2- Dugan Wreathed Cherry Berry Bowl 6 1/4"x4 1/2"x2 1/4". 3- Dugan Leaf Rays Nappy 6"x5 1/2"x2". 4- Dugan / Northwood Banded Grape Mug 3 1/2"x3 1/2". Weight on all 2 pds 11 oz. PROVENANCE: A Private Charleston SC Estate. The Dugan glass company was founded by Thomas Dugan, a cousin of Harry Northwood. About 1904 Dugan along with his partner W. G. Minnemeyer bought the closed Northwood factory in Indiana, PA and opened it as the Dugan glass company. The company continued production after the Dugans left the company and was renamed the Diamond glass company in 1913.The company continued production until a fire destroyed the plant on June 27, 1931.
